This Privacy Policy applies to all services provided on our platform. By accessing or using TryQRMint, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 — Information You Provide

2.2 — Scan Analytics (People Who Scan QR Codes)
When someone scans a dynamic QR code created on TryQRMint, we record the following technical data about that scan to provide scan analytics to the QR code owner. We do not ask scanners for their name or contact details as part of a scan.

2.3 — Information Collected Through QR Code Forms
Some QR code types (such as lead capture, appointment booking, invitation RSVP, and feedback pages) let QR code owners collect information from the people who scan them, for example name, email address, phone number, preferred dates, meal choices, ratings, and messages. This information is stored on our platform and made available to the QR code owner in their dashboard and CSV exports. For this data, the QR code owner is the data controller and decides how it is used; TryQRMint acts as a data processor on the owner's behalf. Questions about such submissions should be directed to the business or person that owns the QR code.
2.4 — Billing & Payment Information
We do not store or process raw credit card or bank account details on our servers. Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.

3. How We Use Your Information
- Operate, maintain, and enhance our QR code generation and management platform
- Verify user email authenticity via automated verification codes during registration
- Process prepaid orders and deliver transactional billing receipts
- Generate dynamic QR code scan analytics for user account dashboards
- Store and display form submissions (leads, appointments, RSVPs, feedback) to the QR code owner who collected them
- Measure website usage and improve the site with session analytics (Microsoft Clarity)
- Show advertising on parts of our website through Google AdSense, which may be personalized based on cookies
- Respond promptly to customer inquiry submissions and technical support tickets
- Send administrative security alerts, password resets, and critical account updates
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity or security vulnerabilities
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following service providers to operate TryQRMint. They process personal data on our behalf or, where noted, under their own privacy policies:
Stores account data, login sessions, saved QR code configurations, uploaded files, form submissions, and scan analytics records. Google sign-in is handled through Supabase authentication.
Hosts the website, serves pages, and processes dynamic QR code redirects; provides approximate location data used for scan analytics.
Processes prepaid plan checkouts. Card and bank details are entered on Razorpay and are not stored on our servers.
Delivers verification codes, password reset emails, receipts, and account notifications.
Records how visitors use our website (such as clicks, scrolling, and session replays and heatmaps) using cookies, to help us improve the site. See Microsoft's privacy statement for details.
Displays ads on parts of our website. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, including personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
5. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States, the European Union, and India. When data is transferred internationally, we rely on our providers' contractual and technical safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses where applicable, to protect it.
6. Data Security Measures
We apply robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures:
- All communications encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS / HTTPS encryption
- Passwords stored exclusively using strong salted cryptographic hashing algorithms
- Strict access controls and Row Level Security preventing unauthorized cross-tenant data access
- Scanner IP addresses partially truncated before they are stored
- Temporary verification codes automatically expire after 10 minutes
- Server-side security credentials kept isolated from client browser environments
7. Data Retention Schedule

You may permanently delete your account at any time via Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes your profile and all associated QR code data.

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as GDPR in the EU or DPDPA in India), you possess specific rights regarding your personal information:
